英国政府启用“北方唐宁街10号”

新华社伦敦7月23日电（记者赵家淞）英国首相府23日发表声明宣布，在英格兰西北部城市曼彻斯特启用“北方唐宁街10号”，首相伯纳姆及其他内阁大臣今后将定期在此办公。声明称，此举旨在改变英国经济决策仅由位于伦敦的中央政府作出的局面。
声明说，“北方唐宁街10号”目前位于曼彻斯特市中心的赫伦大厦，将统筹地方经济发展和分权政策。伯纳姆24日将在此主持重启后的国家经济委员会首次会议，高级内阁成员和英格兰各地区市长将出席。
声明称，伯纳姆预计今后每周都会到曼彻斯特办公。（完）
